DECEMBER 16, 2024 – Submissions Close
FEBRUARY 5, 2025 – Proposal Statuses Announced
FEBRUARY 17, 2025 – Proposals invited to the Program must RSVP by this date to hold a slot on the conference agenda. No exceptions
MARCH 7, 2025 – Deadline for All Session Speakers/Presenters to Register
Important: Once a submission is started, the submitter is able to make changes until December 16, 2024. All submissions must be final no later than December 16, 2024, to be reviewed.
Individuals may submit more than one proposal (any combination of sessions and posters).
PROPOSAL GUIDELINES:
Membership is not required to submit a proposal. The Education Committee and Conference Planning Committee reviews and selects the proposals to be included in the program
Each submission must include a proposed presenter list. If the session intends to have a single speaker/presenter only, include that individual’s name in the presenter list.
Submitters are asked to let proposed presenters know that while their names are on the proposed presenter list, the group is not guaranteed a slot on the program until conference organizers make an official invitation.
Once a session proposal is accepted, session developers are responsible for ensuring that their speakers and moderators can fund their costs for registration, travel, and lodging, and attend in person. Virtual attendance will not be possible.
Session speakers who are SLA members will register with a 25% speaker discount. Non-members will register with a 20% discount. Speakers/presenters who cannot attend the full conference will be offered complimentary “Talk & Walk” registration status – enabling them to attend their scheduled session only. All speakers are responsible for their own travel and lodging expenses.
Speakers of all accepted proposals will receive access to private speaker portals where they may provide additional information including their speaker bios, photos, and contact information.
