Martine works closely with the Executive Director and SLA's various committees. She is also responsible for SLA's technology and database and works with community leaders and board members to ensure SLA is accessible and functional to the membership.

Joel works with the SLA Membership Committee to identify ways to increase member satisfaction, develop recruitment and retention initiatives, member support, and increase member and community engagement.

ANNUAL CONFERENCE AND MEETINGS

Karen Lam
Meetings Manager

Karen is responsible for coordinating and executing the Annual Meeting and other events. Melanie works with the SLA Board of Directors and Conference Committee to deliver content-driven meetings that provide educational programming and expertise to SLA and its members.

Kara Rudowsky
Meetings Coordinator

Kara works side by side with Karen and is responsible for all the administrative functions of the annual meeting and events. Kara's role is crucial to SLA meetings as she builds out registration platforms and works with the venue to plan and facilitate the annual meeting.

Kristen Totaro
Industry Relations Manager

Kristen is responsible for the exhibitor and sponsorship sales for SLA’s Annual Conference. In addition, she is the contact for Year-Round sponsorships for the Association; including, digital advertising, webinars SLA Connect, e-newsletters, and community events.
